Camp Features 5 Top Coaches and an Opportunity to Spar with Competitive Players in the Region.

In support of the northeast effort to provide quality training to competitive players in the region, Boston Badminton, in partnership with the Yonex Corporation, USA Badminton (USAB) and the US Badminton Education Foundation (USBEF), is conducting a 4 day training camp on Dec 26-29th.

Andy Chong will lead the coaching staff which includes:  Paula O’Banana, Eva Lee, Pashupati Paneru and Tahtat Pojanakanokporn.

Visiting coaches, Paula and Eva from California are the top women’s doubles pair in the Pan American continent, having won the championship of the 2012 Norway, Guatemala, Brazil and Tahiti International tournaments.  They are working hard to compete successfully in the 2013 BWF World Championships and All England Championships to which they have qualified.

Tahtat, a top men’s singles player, was the finalist of the 2011 Boston Open and Puccini Texas Championships.

The camp feature 2.5 hours of intense training sessions in the morning and in the afternoon. Top competitive juniors and young adults from the east will benefit from training together and sparring with players from other Club/States and from the high power coaching staff put together for this camp.
