WBAL-TV, the Baltimore affiliate of NBC, is coming to the Northeast Regional Recreation Center in Parkville, MD on Saturday August 4 to videotape a special feature on badminton. The series will air on one of the morning newscasts during the Olympics. It will also be showcased during one of their Ozone shows, which is a nightly show dedicated to the Olympics.

A number of local Baltimore County newspapers (The Towson Times, The Jeffersonian, and the Northeast Booster) have run front page articles about the Loch Raven Badminton Club and its new facility in the Northeast Regional Recreation Center (NERRC).
