2008 Wilson Boston Open Tournament
The 2008 Wilson Boston Open Tournament took place from Friday, May 2nd to Sunday, May 4th at the Rockwell Cage, at MIT in Cambridge, Massachusetts. This was the 12th year of the tournament, which has grown to become one of the most prestigious USAB ranking tournaments in the nation. Players from around the world gathered at MIT for the tournament, which had more than 200 competitors.

The tournament co-directors are Christopher Lawrence and Arthur Schwartz, and the tournament referee is Charlotte Ackerman. The total prize money was $14,250. Medals were awarded to all semi-finalists and finalists of the open events and to all finalists of the senior events.

The tournament drew top national players including three players who will represent the US at the 2008 Beijing Olympics this summer -- Howard Bach, Bob Malaythong and Raju Rai. .
Finals:
Men's singles -- Holvy De Pauw defeated Raju Rai (21-19, 18-21, 21-17)
Men's doubles -- Howard Bach/Bob Malaythong defeated Daniel Gouw/Chandra Kowi (21-14, 21-13)
Mixed doubles -- Chandra Kowi/Mona Santoso defeated J. B. S . Vidyadhar/Sarada Jasti (21-14, 21-6)
Women's singles -- Joo Hyun Lee defeated Mona Santoso (21-14, 21-16)
Women's doubles -- Joo Hyun Lee/Mona Santoso defeated Daphne Chang/Mingzi Zhang (21-14, 21-9)
